This Privacy Policy describes how VCQApp ("Service Provider", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the Her Bloom mobile application ("Application"). By using the Application, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.

1. Information Collection and Use

A. Personal & Device Information

The Application may collect certain information automatically, including:

  • Your device's IP address and operating system.
  • Log data regarding the time, date, and duration of your sessions.
  • Personally identifiable information provided by you upon registration, such as your Email address and User ID (stored securely via Firebase).

B. Cycle Tracking & Health Data

To provide you with personalized cycle predictions, fertility insights, and health recommendations, we collect:

  • Cycle Information: Period dates, cycle length, and symptoms.
  • Health Metrics: Body Basal Temperature (BBT), cervical mucus patterns, sleep quality, energy levels, weight, and water intake.
  • Health App Integration: If you grant permission, the Application may sync health data from Apple Health or Google Fit to help calculate your readiness scores.

C. AI Coaching & Nutrition Data

Her Bloom includes AI-powered features for fitness/wellness coaching and cycle-synced recipe generation. We process the data you log (symptoms, mood, phase) and your specific queries to provide personalized insights and AI-generated meal plans.

D. Partner Sync (Optional)

If you choose to use the "Partner Sync" feature, you explicitly agree to share certain cycle status data with a designated partner. You can disable this connection at any time.

2. AI Technology & Processing

Her Bloom uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini API) to analyze your cycle patterns and provide personalized coaching.

  • Processing: Your cycle data and health logs are processed by the AI solely to generate insights for your personal dashboard.
  • Privacy: Your personal data sent to the AI API is not used to train Google's public foundation models and is processed securely for your session only.

3. Subscription & Payments

Her Bloom uses a "Freemium" model. Premium features (such as advanced AI coaching and detailed fertility analysis) are unlocked via a PRO subscription. We integrate RevenueCat to securely manage in-app purchases and subscriptions. We do not store your credit card data directly.

4. Third-Party Access & Data Sharing

A. General Third Parties

We share anonymized, aggregated data, or necessary service data with the following infrastructure providers:

  • Google Play Services / Apple App Store: Platform distribution and core functionality.
  • Firebase (Google): Authentication, Firestore Database, Crashlytics for bugs, and Analytics for app performance.
  • RevenueCat: To securely manage in-app purchases and PRO subscriptions.
  • Google Gemini AI API: To generate AI-powered cycle and nutrition insights.

B. Data Protection (Crucial)

We respect the highly personal nature of your health data. Your cycle logs, symptoms, and AI coaching history are never sold to third-party advertisers or data brokers.

5. Data Deletion & Retention

  • Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
  • Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data (including your cycle history and AI insights) directly in the app's Settings menu.
  • Formal Request: You may also email us at to request full data erasure. We will process these requests within 3 business days.

6. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information and health logs from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.

7. Children's Privacy

Her Bloom does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
