Helix Vault: Symptom & Health Log ("we," "our," or "us") is developed by Junaid Muhammad Khan. This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is handled in Helix Vault for iOS.

1. Our Privacy Pledge

We believe your health data belongs to you. We do not collect, sell, or rent your personal data. Helix Vault operates on a "No Backend" architecture, meaning we do not have a central server that stores your information.

2. Data Storage

All data you enter into Helix Vault (including symptoms, medication logs, and notes) is stored:

Locally: On your physical device.

iCloud: In your personal, private iCloud container (if iCloud Drive is enabled by you).

This data is encrypted by Apple and is accessible only by you. We (the developer) have no way to access, view, or decrypt your health records.

3. HealthKit Integration

Helix Vault requests access to Apple's HealthKit to read your Heart Rate data.

Purpose: This data is used solely to generate correlation charts (e.g., "Heart Rate vs. Symptom Intensity") within the app.

Privacy: This health data is processed locally on your device. It is never sent to any external server, third-party analytics service, or advertising network.

4. Analytics & Tracking

Helix Vault is designed to be tracker-free.

We do not use third-party analytics platforms that track your behavior.

We do not use advertising SDKs.

5. Subscriptions & Payments

All payments and subscriptions are processed securely by Apple via the App Store.

We do not have access to your credit card information or billing details.

Apple may store your purchase history according to its own Privacy Policy.

6. Your Rights

Since we do not hold your data, there is nothing for us to delete or export upon request. You have full control:

To Delete Data: Simply delete the app or remove specific logs within the app.

To Export Data: Use the "Export PDF/CSV" features within the app settings to create a copy of your records.

7. Changes to This Policy

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
