HangGo Comprehensive Terms of Service

Article 1: Introduction and Parties
1.1. Subject of the Agreement: These Terms of Service ("Agreement") constitute a legally binding agreement between you, our valued user ("User" or "You"), and HangGo ("HangGo", "We", "Us"). This Agreement governs the terms of use for the HangGo mobile application ("Application") and all services it offers ("Services").
1.2. Acceptance: By downloading the Application to your mobile device, installing it, creating an account, or using any of our services, you declare that you have read, understood, and accept this entire Agreement and our referenced Privacy Policy without any limitation. If you do not accept these terms, you may not use the Application.
Article 2: Definitions
Application: The mobile software platform named "HangGo" that allows Users to create, discover, join, and interact with social events.
Organizer: A User who creates and manages one or more Events through the Application.
Participant: A User who attends or requests to join an Event created by an Organizer.
Content: Any and all data and materials created, shared, or uploaded to the Application by Users, including but not limited to profile information, photos, texts, biographies, comments, event descriptions, chat messages, ratings, and polls.
Event: Any kind of gathering, meeting, or organization arranged by Users to take place at a specific time and place (physical or virtual) and announced through the Application.
Verified Account: A User account that has successfully completed the identity verification steps (face photos, security questions, etc.) determined at HangGo's sole discretion and bears a special badge on its profile.
Event Chat Room: A private group chat area created specifically for each Event, where only the Organizer and Participants of that Event can send messages.
Article 3: Account Creation and Membership
3.1. Eligibility: To use the Application and create an account, you must be at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into a binding contract.
3.2. Registration Process: The registration process is a multi-step process that requires you to provide basic information such as your first and last name, email, password, date of birth, location, and gender. In subsequent steps, you may be asked to specify your interests and social style.
3.3. Accuracy of Information: You undertake that all information you provide during and after registration is accurate, current, complete, and not misleading. It is your responsibility to maintain the timeliness of this information.
3.4. Account Security: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account password and for preventing unauthorized use of your account. You will be held responsible for all actions that occur under your account.
3.5. Account Verification Process:
* 3.5.1. Optionality: HangGo offers an optional "Account Verification" process to increase trust on the platform. Completing this process is not mandatory, but users who do may gain "Verified Account" status and related privileges (e.g., attending events exclusive to verified accounts).
* 3.5.2. Process Requirements: The verification application requires you to submit current photos of your face taken from different angles (front, right, and left profile) directly with the in-app camera and to provide text-based answers to your custom security questions.
* 3.5.3. Discretionary Power: HangGo has the absolute discretion to approve or reject the application by evaluating the consistency, clarity, and compliance of the submitted information and photos with its internal security standards. The application status ("pending," "approved," "rejected") will be notified to you within the application.
* 3.5.4. False Information: Intentionally submitting false, misleading, or someone else's information or photos during the verification process is a material breach of this Agreement and may result in the immediate and permanent termination of your account.
Article 4: User Obligations and Community Guidelines
When using the Application, you agree not to do the following:
4.1. Illegal Activities: Violate any local, national, or international law.
4.2. Prohibited Content: Post Content that is harassing, threatening, defamatory, discriminatory, contains hate speech, is obscene, pornographic, or in any way offensive.
4.3. Fraud and Deception: Impersonate another person or entity, create a fake profile, or provide misleading information about your age or identity.
4.4. Intellectual Property Infringement: Share Content that infringes upon copyright, trademark, or other proprietary rights.
4.5. Security Breaches: Introduce viruses to the Application's infrastructure, overload it, send "spam" or "chain letters," or unlawfully collect other users' data.
4.6. Commercial Activity: Use the Application for commercial advertising, sales, or other commercial purposes without HangGo's prior written consent.
Article 5: Content Ownership and Licenses
5.1. Content Ownership: The intellectual property of all Content you create and share (photos, texts, etc.) belongs to you.
5.2. License Granted to HangGo: For the purposes of providing, promoting, and improving the Services, you grant HangGo a worldwide, non-exclusive, transferable, sublicensable, and royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, create derivative works from (such as resizing), publish, and display the Content you upload to the Application. This license terminates when you delete your account; however, you understand that deleted content may remain in backup copies for a reasonable period.
Article 6: Events: Platform's Role and Disclaimer of Responsibility
6.1. Platform's Role: HANGGO IS A TECHNOLOGY PLATFORM AND AN INTERMEDIARY SERVICE PROVIDER THAT ENABLES USERS TO MEET EACH OTHER AND ORGANIZE EVENTS. HANGGO IS NOT THE ORGANIZER, HOST, SUPERVISOR, GUARANTOR, OR INSURER OF ANY EVENT.
6.2. Assumption of Risks: THE USER EXPRESSLY ACKNOWLEDGES AND AGREES THAT ALL RISKS ARISING OUT OF ALL ONLINE AND OFFLINE INTERACTIONS WITH INDIVIDUALS MET THROUGH THE APPLICATION AND ATTENDANCE AT EVENTS ARE SOLELY THEIR OWN. HangGo does not investigate users' backgrounds, confirm their identities (except for the Verified Accounts process), or check their intentions.
6.3. Disclaimer of Liability: HANGGO SHALL IN NO EVENT BE HELD LIABLE FOR ANY ACCIDENTS, PHYSICAL INJURY, EMOTIONAL DISTRESS, DEATH, PROPERTY DAMAGE, THEFT, FRAUD, HARASSMENT, OR OTHER CRIMINAL ACTS THAT MAY OCCUR DURING, BEFORE, OR AFTER EVENTS, NOR FOR THEIR DIRECT OR INDIRECT CONSEQUENCES.
Article 7: In-App Systems
7.1. Rating and Feedback System:
After an event, under certain conditions (e.g., if at least 3 other participants attended the event besides you), Participants can rate the Organizer.
The purpose of this system is to build a healthy community. Ratings are expected to be fair, honest, and constructive. Manipulation of the system is prohibited.
7.2. Event Chat Rooms:
A private chat room is available for the Participants of each Event.
Conversations in these rooms are subject to the Community Guidelines in Article 4. Harassment, spam, or illegal activities are prohibited in the chat rooms.
7.3. Reporting Mechanism:
You can report a User or Content that you believe violates this Agreement or the community guidelines through the in-app reporting ("report") mechanism.
HangGo will investigate reports at its sole discretion and take any action it deems necessary (warning, content removal, account suspension/deletion). We are under no obligation to take action on any report.
Article 8: Intellectual Property Rights
All components of the Application itself, including its source code, design, texts, logos, and graphics, are the property of HangGo or its licensors and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. This Agreement grants you no rights other than a license to use the Application.
Article 9: Termination of the Agreement
9.1. Termination by User: You can delete your account at any time using the "Delete Account" feature in the Application settings. You understand that this action is permanent and irreversible, may require identity verification, and will result in the deletion of all your data. In some cases (e.g., if you have a past event record), you may be notified that deleting your account is not possible.
9.2. Termination by HangGo: HangGo reserves the right to suspend or permanently terminate your account and access to the Services at its sole discretion and without prior notice if you breach this Agreement, engage in illegal activities, or pose a risk to the platform.
Article 10: Disclaimer of Warranty and Limitation of Liability
10.1. Disclaimer of Warranty: THE APPLICATION AND SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." HANGGO MAKES NO WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, THAT THE APPLICATION WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, SECURE, OR WILL MEET YOUR NEEDS.
10.2. Limitation of Liability: IN NO EVENT SHALL HANGGO'S TOTAL LIABILITY ARISING OUT OF THIS AGREEMENT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU HAVE PAID TO US, IF ANY, IN THE LAST SIX (6) MONTHS, OR ONE HUNDRED TURKISH LIRAS (100 TL).
Article 11: Dispute Resolution and Governing Law
The laws of the Republic of Turkey shall apply to the interpretation and enforcement of this Agreement. The Istanbul (Çağlayan) Courts and Execution Offices shall have exclusive jurisdiction in the resolution of any dispute arising from or in connection with this Agreement.
HangGo Comprehensive Privacy Policy

Article 1: Introduction
At HangGo, we place great importance on the privacy of our users ("You") and the security of their personal data. This Privacy Policy has been prepared to transparently inform you, as the data controller, about which personal data we process, why and how we process it, with whom we share it, and your rights concerning this data, in accordance with the Law on the Protection of Personal Data No. 6698 (“KVKK”) and the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”).

2.1. Additional Information Regarding the Account Verification Process:
Voluntariness and Consent: The account verification process is entirely optional. By initiating this process and submitting the verification form, you provide your explicit consent for the processing of your special category personal data, such as your facial photos, and your answers to security questions for the purposes stated in this policy.
Camera Permission: The Application will request permission to access your device's camera to take the photos required for verification. Granting this permission helps to confirm that the photo is current and belongs to you. If you do not grant permission, this feature cannot be used. If you have previously permanently denied the permission, you may be shown a notice directing you to your device's application settings.
Article 3: Parties with Whom Data is Shared
Your personal data is not shared with third parties without your explicit consent or a legal basis. The situations in which sharing occurs are as follows:
Other Users: Public information on your profile (name, photo, interests, etc.) and the information that you are participating in an event can be seen by other Users (especially the Organizer and other Participants of that event).
Service Providers: Data may be shared with third-party service providers from whom we receive technical services such as data hosting (cloud hosting), analytics, and email delivery, only to the extent required by the service and under strict confidentiality agreements.
Legal Authorities: Data may be shared with competent public institutions and organizations upon a court decision, legal investigation, or legal obligation.
Article 4: Data Retention and Deletion
Retention Period: Your personal data is retained as long as your HangGo account is active or as long as it is necessary to provide services to you.
Deletion of Account Verification Data: Once your account verification application is approved or rejected, the raw data submitted during the application process, such as facial photos, will be permanently deleted from our systems for security purposes within a reasonable time after the application result is finalized. Only the verification status of your account ("approved" or "rejected") will be stored.
Account Deletion: When you request to delete your account, your data is immediately deactivated. Without prejudice to our legal obligations, your personal data will be irreversibly deleted or anonymized from our systems within a reasonable period (usually 30-90 days).
Article 5: Your Rights Regarding Your Personal Data (KVKK Article 11)
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
To learn whether your personal data is being processed,
To request information if it has been processed,
To learn the purpose of the processing and whether it is used in line with its purpose,
To know the third parties to whom the data is transferred, in the country or abroad,
To request the correction of incomplete or incorrectly processed data,
To request the deletion or destruction of your personal data within the framework of the conditions stipulated in Article 7 of the KVKK,
To request that the correction, deletion, or destruction operations be notified to third parties to whom the data has been transferred,
To object to the emergence of a result against you by analyzing the processed data exclusively through automated systems,
To demand compensation for damages in case you suffer damage due to the unlawful processing of data.

Article 6: Children's Privacy
Our services are not directed at individuals under the age of 18. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 18. If you are a parent or guardian and become aware that your child has provided us with information, please contact us.
Article 7: Policy Changes
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we make significant changes, we will notify you within the Application or by email. Your continued use of the Application after the changes means you accept the updated policy.
