Privacy Policy for Glass Dash

Glass Dash is an Android HUD display and an EconTool plugin. The app is designed to display vehicle data received from EconTool on a separate Android screen.
Data used by the app
Glass Dash may use the following data:
vehicle data received from EconTool to display parameters on the app screen;
app settings and user-selected display options;
the selected Google or Yandex account name if the user chooses manual activation by account name;
the activation code entered by the user for manual activation;
purchase information for the full version through Google Play Billing;
a receipt or payment confirmation file if the user manually selects and sends it to the developer through an email app.
How data is used
The data is used for the following purposes:
displaying vehicle parameters in HUD mode;
saving interface settings and layouts;
checking the full version activation status;
processing purchases through Google Play;
manual app activation if the user chooses this method;
displaying current payment and activation instructions.
Sharing data with third parties
Glass Dash does not sell user data.
When Google Play Billing is used, the purchase is processed by Google Play services. In this case, purchase data is handled by Google according to Google Play policies.
If the user chooses to send an activation email manually, the email data and selected attachment are sent through the email app selected by the user. Glass Dash does not send such emails automatically without user action.
Firebase Remote Config may be used to receive current texts and parameters related to payment and activation.
Vehicle data
Glass Dash displays vehicle data received from EconTool. This data is used to display information on the app screen. Available parameters depend on the vehicle, adapter, protocol, and EconTool settings.
Data storage
App settings, selected parameters, activation data, and some technical data are stored locally on the user's device.
File access
For manual activation, the user may select a payment confirmation file. The app uses the selected file only to attach it to an email that the user sends through the selected email app.
App permissions
The app may use internet and network state access for activation features, Google Play Billing, and Firebase Remote Config.
The app may use USB features and local data exchange mechanisms to receive data from EconTool.
Ads
Glass Dash does not contain ads.
Location
Glass Dash does not request access to the user's location.
Changes to this policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated when app features change. The current version is published on this page.
