The core of GenogramIA is the creation of family trees with medical history. We collect and store data that you voluntarily enter about yourself and your family members:

  • First and last names.
  • Dates of birth and death.
  • Biological sex and orientation.
  • Family relationships (marriages, divorces, offspring, etc.).
  • Medical History: Health conditions, diseases, and diagnosis dates.


1.3. Guest Mode Data

If you use the application in Guest Mode, data is stored only in the temporary memory of your device and is deleted when the application is closed. We do not collect this data on our servers.

 

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information collected to:

  • Provide and maintain the genogram creation service.
  • Synchronize your data across multiple devices (for authenticated users only).
  • Health Pattern Analysis: Utilize Artificial Intelligence tools (such as Google Gemini or OpenAI APIs) to help you detect hereditary patterns and suggest potential health risks based on the history entered.
  • Allow management of your account and password recovery.

 

3. Data Storage and Security

  • Infrastructure: We use Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore, Storage, and Auth) for secure backend storage and authentication.
  • Security: We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
  • AI: Data processed by AI services is handled under the privacy policies of the respective providers (Google/OpenAI), ensuring that information is used solely for the functionality requested by the user.


4. Third-Party Data Sharing

GenogramIA does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. We share data only with:

  • Service Providers: Such as Google Firebase for the backend and AI providers (Gemini/OpenAI) for health analysis features.
  • Legal Compliance: When required by law or to protect our legal rights.

You have full control over your data:

  • Editing and Deletion: You can modify or delete any person, relationship, or medical data at any time.
  • Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your account from the Settings section, which will erase all your personal data and genograms from our servers.
  • Access: You can view all the information you have entered through the application's interface.
