# FluxScan: Privacy Policy (2026 Edition)

### 1. Introduction
Ghost Community ("we," "us," or "our") is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy describes how the FluxScan application handles data in compliance with the latest 2026 Google Play Console guidelines.

### 2. Data Collection & Privacy-First Approach
FluxScan is designed as an **offline-first** utility. 
- **Sensor Data**: The app accesses your device's hardware Magnetometer to detect magnetic fields. This data is processed in real-time and locally. It is never transmitted to any external servers.
- **AI/ML Transparency**: FluxScan does not use generative AI to synthesize sensor data; all visualizations (Gauge, Heat Map) are a 1:1 reactive representation of local hardware magnetometer readings.
- **No Personal Data**: We do not collect names, email addresses, phone numbers, or any other personally identifiable information (PII).

### 3. Hardware Permissions & Usage
To provide its core utility, FluxScan requires the following specific permissions:
- **FLASHLIGHT**: Used to control the device torch for the "Smart Flashlight" feature. No image or video data is ever accessed, recorded, or transmitted.
- **VIBRATE**: Used to provide haptic "Geiger" feedback during detection.
- **INTERNET & NETWORK STATE**: Used solely for initializing and displaying AdMob advertisements.

### 4. Data Storage & Export
- **CSV Logs**: If you choose to record a scan, data is exported using the **Storage Access Framework (SAF)**. This ensures files are only written to folders you explicitly choose.
- **Snapshots**: High-resolution detection images are saved locally to your device.
- **In-App Gallery**: You have full control to view and delete any saved snapshots within the app.

### 5. Third-Party Advertising
We use **Google AdMob** for monetization. AdMob may collect certain device identifiers (such as Advertising ID) to serve relevant ads. Please refer to Google’s Privacy Policy for details on their data handling. FluxScan enforces a 5-minute frequency cap on ads to ensure a non-intrusive user experience.

### 6. Children’s Privacy
FluxScan is a utility tool and does not knowingly collect any data from children. It is compliant with all COPPA and GDPR regulations regarding minors.

### 7. Changes to this Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in hardware APIs or store regulations. The latest version will always be available within the application.
