How Location Data is Handled: Location coordinates are processed in real-time during your active app session to calculate route restrictions. We do not build permanent movement profiles or sell your location history to third-party data brokers.
B. Device & Technical Information
When you use the app, limited technical data is processed automatically to maintain network stability and performance:
- Device model, operating system version (Android / iOS).
- Network connectivity state (to toggle offline protection mode).
- App crash logs and performance telemetry.
C. Local Storage, DOM Storage & Cookies
FineAlert utilizes device-level local storage (DOM Storage and Cookies within the web view container) solely to:

- Cache recent route filter selections for faster load times.
D. No Mandatory Account Registration
FineAlert does not require mandatory user registration or account creation to access core driving alert features.

- Core Service Delivery: Calculating vehicle proximity to active road restrictions and delivering timely audio/visual alerts.
- Push & Local Notifications: Triggering proximity alerts and route updates on your device.
- Voice Spoken Warnings (Text-To-Speech): Converting route warning text into audible spoken warnings while driving.
- App Performance & Reliability: Detecting network outages and displaying fallback screens or server maintenance alerts.
4. Permissions Requested by FineAlert
FineAlert requests the following native permissions on your mobile device:

- Web App Infrastructure: Hosted via secure HTTPS encryption (lovable.app domain endpoints).
These third-party providers operate under their respective privacy policies and security standards.
6. Data Sharing & Third-Party Disclosure
We adhere to a strict NO DATA SELLING policy:
- No Selling of Personal Data: We do not sell, rent, or trade your location data, personal information, or usage habits to advertisers or data aggregators.

FineAlert is intended for licensed drivers and adults (ages 17/18 and above). We do not knowingly collect or solicit personal information from children under the age of 13.
