1. Introduction
MateseApps (“we,” “us,” “our”) built the Fake Call Apps (“App”) as a free service. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your personal data, and describes your rights under GDPR, CCPA, VCDPA, and other applicable laws.
2. Personal Data We Collect
Identifiers: Device ID (e.g. Advertising ID or Vendor ID), IP address, device model, operating system version.
Log Data: App configuration, crash reports, timestamps of usage.
Usage Data: Pages/screens visited, feature interaction, session duration.
Cookies & Similar Technologies: Third-party cookies, SDK cookies used by Google Play Services, AdMob, Firebase, Facebook, Unity, Vungle, Mintegral, Pangle.
Third-Party Analytics & Advertising: Data processed by Google Analytics for Firebase, Firebase Crashlytics, Facebook, etc.
3. Legal Basis for Processing (GDPR)
Consent (Art. 6(1)(a)): When you opt in to analytics or personalized ads.
Performance of a Contract (Art. 6(1)(b)): To deliver the App’s core functionality.
Legitimate Interests (Art. 6(1)(f)): To improve security, detect fraud, and enhance user experience (you may object—see Section 7).
4. How We Use Your Data
To Provide & Maintain the App
To Analyze & Improve: Bug fixes, feature enhancements.
To Personalize Ads: Where you have consented.
To Communicate: Updates, support responses.
5. Data Sharing & “Sale” Disclosures
Service Providers: We share your personal data (e.g. Device ID, usage logs) with vendors who perform services on our behalf (analytics, crash reporting, hosting).
Advertising Partners: We share Device ID and certain usage data with ad networks (AdMob, Facebook Audience Network, Unity Ads, etc.) for personalized advertising.
Sale of Personal Data (CCPA): We do not “sell” personal data for the third-party’s own purposes.
Sharing for “Cross-Context Behavioral Advertising”: Because we share data with advertising partners for personalized ads, this may count as a “sale” under CCPA. California residents can opt out (Section 8).
6. Data Retention
We retain personal data no longer than necessary for the purposes described:
Device ID & Log Data: 12 months
Crash Reports: 6 months
Usage Data & Analytics: 24 months
After these periods, data is either deleted or anonymized.
7. Your Rights
7.1 Under GDPR
Access (Art. 15): Obtain a copy of your personal data.
Rectification (Art. 16): Have inaccurate data corrected.
Erasure (“Right to be Forgotten,” Art. 17): Request deletion of your data.
Restriction (Art. 18): Limit how we use your data.
Object (Art. 21): Object to processing based on legitimate interests.
Data Portability (Art. 20): Receive your data in a machine-readable format.
Withdraw Consent (Art. 7): At any time, without affecting processing before withdrawal.
7.2 Under CCPA (California)
Right to Know (§ 1798.100): Categories and specific pieces of personal data collected.
Right to Delete (§ 1798.105): Request deletion of personal data.
Right to Opt-Out of Sale (§ 1798.120): Direct us not to “sell” your data.
Right to Non-Discrimination (§ 1798.125): You will not be denied services or charged different rates for exercising rights.
7.3 Under VCDPA (Virginia)
Access: Confirm whether we process your data and access a copy.
Correction: Correct inaccuracies.
Deletion: Delete your personal data.
Data Portability: Receive data in a portable format.
Opt-Out: Object to sale of personal data.

9. Security
We use industry-standard measures (encryption, access controls) to protect data, but cannot guarantee 100% security.
10. Children’s Privacy
We do not knowingly collect data from children under 13. If you believe we have, please contact us to request deletion.
11. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy. The “Last Updated” date above reflects the revision. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance.
12. Right to Know About Data Sharing: You have the right to request a list of the categories of personal data we share, the categories of third parties with whom it’s shared, and the business purpose for each sharing.
