Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the EZ Meals Planner mobile application and related services (collectively, the “App” or “Service”) operated by Patryk Kowalewski (“we,” “us,” or “our”).

By downloading, accessing, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum age required in your country) to use the App. If you are under 18, you represent that you have your parent or guardian’s permission to use the App.

2. The Service

EZ Meals helps you plan weekly meals, discover recipes, and generate shopping lists based on preferences you provide (such as grocery store, budget, dietary needs, and kitchen equipment).

The App may include:

Personalized weekly meal plan previews and full plans (with subscription)
Recipe browsing and saved meals (with subscription)
Shopping lists derived from your plan
Estimated grocery costs (directional estimates only)
Optional reminders for planning and shopping
Cloud sync of preferences, plans, and saved meals when you sign in

We may update, modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. Not Medical or Professional Advice

EZ Meals is for general meal planning and informational purposes only. We do not provide medical, nutritional, dietary, allergy, or health advice. Recipe and dietary tags (including “gluten free,” “vegan,” “dairy free,” etc.) are based on catalog metadata and are not guarantees.

Always verify ingredients, labels, and preparation methods—especially if you have allergies, medical conditions, or strict dietary requirements. Consult a qualified professional before making health-related decisions.

4. Accounts

You may use certain features by signing in with Apple, Google, or other supported methods. You agree to:

Provide accurate information
Keep your account credentials secure
Notify us if you suspect unauthorized access

You are responsible for activity under your account.

You may delete your account from within the App (Profile). Deleting your account removes associated cloud data subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.

5. Subscriptions and Payments (EZ Meals Pro)

Some features require a paid subscription (“EZ Meals Pro”).

Plans (may vary by region):

EZ Meals Pro Monthly — billed monthly
EZ Meals Pro Yearly — billed annually

Prices are shown in the App before purchase and may change for new subscribers. Apple processes all payments through your Apple ID.

Auto-renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your Apple ID account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to period end.

Manage or cancel: Open Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions on your device, or use App Store subscription management.

Restore purchases: Available in the App under Profile → Restore Purchases.

Free trials or introductory offers: If offered, any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

Apple’s terms may also apply to in-app purchases. We do not store your full payment card details.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

Use the App for any unlawful purpose
Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code or catalog data at scale
Interfere with the Service or its security
Misrepresent your identity or impersonate others
Use the App to harm others or distribute malware

We may suspend or terminate access for violations.

7. Recipe Content and Third-Party Materials

Recipes, images, and related content in the App may come from third-party sources and our curated catalog. We do not claim ownership of all recipe content. Content is provided “as is” for personal, non-commercial use within the App.

You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit the catalog outside the App without proper rights.

8. Pricing Estimates

Grocery cost estimates are approximate and based on heuristics, bundled price data, and optional remote updates. Actual prices vary by store, location, brand, sales, and pack sizes. We do not guarantee that your real receipt will match App estimates.

9. Intellectual Property

The App, including its design, branding, software, and original content (excluding third-party recipe materials), is owned by us or our licensors and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

10. Privacy

Your use of the App is also governed by our Privacy Policy, available at:

By using the App, you consent to our data practices as described there.

11. Disclaimers

THE APP AND ALL CONTENT ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that meal plans will meet your expectations, budget, or dietary needs in every case.

12. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE AND OUR AFFILIATES, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AND LICENSORS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, OR GOODWILL, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE APP WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE (12) MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM, OR (B) USD $50.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations; in those cases, our liability is limited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

13. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from claims, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your misuse of the App or violation of these Terms.

14. Termination

You may stop using the App at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service.

Sections that by nature should survive (including disclaimers, limitation of liability, and governing law) will survive termination.

15. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will post the updated version at https://ezmeals.app/terms and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

16. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of New York, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, unless your local law requires otherwise.

Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in New York, and you consent to their jurisdiction—except where prohibited by applicable consumer protection laws in your country of residence.

18. Apple-Specific Terms

If you downloaded the App from the Apple App Store, you acknowledge that:

These Terms are between you and us, not Apple.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
Apple is not responsible for product claims, including third-party claims that the App fails to conform to legal requirements.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.
