This Privacy Policy explains how EventGrab ("we," "our," or "us") handles your information. EventGrab is designed to help you quickly scan physical events and add them to your digital calendar.

For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information, including but not limited to:

Camera and Photos: We require access to your device’s camera to capture images of schedules, flyers, and event listings. These images are used solely to extract event data.

Calendar Access: We require access to your device’s calendar to allow you to save the detected events directly to your schedule.

The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected or stored by the developer on any external servers.

2. Third-Party Service Providers

EventGrab uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you or facilitate app functionality.

Google Gemini AI

We use Google Gemini AI to process the images you capture and convert them into text.

Google Gemini API: Image data is transmitted to Google’s servers for the sole purpose of real-time text extraction and event identification. We do not store these images on our own servers, and we do not use them for any secondary purposes.

RevenueCat

We use RevenueCat to manage app subscriptions and purchase tracking.

Subscription Data: Data regarding your purchase history and subscription status is processed by RevenueCat to validate your entitlements and unlock premium features. Please note that financial transactions are processed directly by Apple via the App Store; neither EventGrab nor RevenueCat has access to your credit card information or billing details.

3. Data Retention and Security

We do not maintain a database of your scanned images or your calendar events. All processing is handled in real-time. We value your trust in providing your information; however, remember that no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is 100% secure.

4. Children’s Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children.
