The extension does not collect, store, transmit, or sell any personal data of users.

3. How the Extension Works
When you visit www.ertflix.gr:
The extension identifies movie titles displayed on the page.
It retrieves corresponding movie rating data from a secure backend service.
The backend service communicates with The Movie Database (TMDB) API.
Ratings are displayed directly on the Ertflix webpage.
To improve performance and reduce unnecessary network requests:
The extension stores movie rating data locally using Chrome local storage.
Local storage is limited to a maximum of 500 movie entries.
This stored data contains only movie-related information (e.g., title and rating), not personal user data.
4. Third-Party Services
The extension uses:
The Movie Database (TMDB) API to retrieve movie ratings.
A secure backend service (hosted on Vercel) to protect the TMDB API key.
MongoDB to cache movie rating data for performance purposes.
No personal user data is shared with these services.
This product uses the TMDB API but is not endorsed or certified by TMDB.
5. Data Storage
All locally stored data:
Is limited to movie rating information.
Remains on the user's device.
Can be cleared at any time by removing the extension or clearing browser storage.
6. Security
The extension:
Does not execute remote code.
Does not inject external scripts.
Only operates on https://www.ertflix.gr/*.
7. Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated if the extension’s functionality changes. Updates will be reflected by revising the “Last updated” date.
