Turgay Ceylan ("we," "us," or "our") operates the mobile game Author Life
(the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when
you use the App.
1. Summary
Author Life is an offline, single-player game. We do not collect, store,
transmit, or share any personal data. The App does not connect to the
internet, does not use analytics or advertising services, and does not
require you to create an account.
2. Information We Do Not Collect
We do not collect:
- Your name, email address, or any contact information
- Location data
- Device identifiers used for tracking or advertising
- Usage analytics or crash reports sent to us or any third party
- Any data through advertising networks (the App contains no ads)
- Any payment information (the App is a one-time purchase processed
entirely by Apple's App Store; we never receive your payment details)
3. Information Stored Locally on Your Device
The App saves your game progress (such as your in-game author profile,
book projects, and settings) locally on your device using on-device
storage. This data:
- Never leaves your device
- Is never transmitted to us or to any third party
- Is fully under your control — deleting the App permanently deletes
this data
4. Third-Party Services
The App does not integrate any third-party SDKs that collect data
(no analytics, no advertising, no social features, no cloud sync).
5. Children's Privacy
The App does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone,
including children under 13. Because the App collects no personal data
at all, it is safe for use by all ages in this respect. If you believe
a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at
the email below (though under normal use, this should not be possible,
as the App has no data-collection mechanism).
6. Data Retention and Deletion
Since we do not collect or store any data on our servers, there is
nothing for us to retain or delete on your behalf. To remove all locally
stored game data, simply uninstall the App from your device.
