Privacy Policy — Ebook Reader

Last updated: October 24, 2026
Application: Ebook Reader
Package name: com.ltt.ebookreader
Developer: Tardix
Privacy and support contact: luuthetai2106@gmail.com

1. Data Used by the App

Ebook Reader allows you to read EPUB and PDF files that you select. To provide its reading features, the app processes book files, cover images, book metadata, reading positions, bookmarks, highlights, notes, and display preferences.

The app copies selected files into its private storage and stores reading data on your device. This data supports opening books, displaying your library, searching content, and resuming reading.

Tardix does not operate a server that receives your book files, reading history, or notes through the app.

2. Accounts, Advertising, and Analytics

The version described in this policy does not require an account, display advertisements, or include functionality that sends your reading data to analytics or advertising services.

The app does not currently provide a cloud synchronization service operated by Tardix.

3. File Selection and External Links

The app uses your operating system’s file picker to let you select books. If you select a file from a cloud storage provider available through the file picker, that provider may require an internet connection and process data under its own privacy policy before the file is imported.

When you choose to open a web link within a book, the app asks for confirmation before opening the link in an external browser. The website and browser are governed by their own privacy policies. The app does not automatically attach your book contents or notes to these links.

4. Operating System Backups

The Android version currently allows operating system backups. Depending on your device and settings, the operating system may back up or restore some app data or transfer it to another device.

These features are managed by the operating system and your device or account provider. Tardix does not operate or have access to those backups. You can manage backup features through your device settings.

5. Data Retention and Deletion

Reading data is stored so you can continue using the app until you delete a book, clear the app’s data, or uninstall the app.

Deleting a book from Ebook Reader removes the app’s copy and its associated reading progress, bookmarks, highlights, and notes. The original file outside the app remains unchanged.

You can clear all local app data through Android’s app settings. Operating system backups, original files, and files held by external services are managed separately according to the relevant settings and provider policies.

Because the app does not create user accounts, there is no Ebook Reader server account to delete.

6. Data Security

The app uses private storage managed by your operating system. It does not provide separate password-based encryption for stored books or reading data.

The protection of your data also depends on your device’s screen lock, security settings, software updates, and operating environment.

7. Support Communications

If you voluntarily email Tardix, your email address and the information you provide are used to respond to your support or privacy request.

Only share book files or notes if you wish to provide them and have permission to do so.

You may contact luuthetai2106@gmail.com to ask about the handling of your support information or request its deletion, subject to applicable obligations and the extent technically possible.

8. Changes to This Policy

This policy will be updated when the app’s data handling practices change. The current version will be published on the app’s privacy policy page, with the latest update date shown at the top.
