This Privacy Policy applies to the Earth Spot Map mobile application (the “Application”), created and operated by Harrison Lisewski (“Service Provider,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). Earth Spot Map is provided as a free service, intended for use AS IS.

When you install or use the Application, we may automatically collect:
Device information: device model, operating system, version, and unique identifiers

You search, upload, or filter skate spots or nearby places
You use map-based or distance-based features
You can revoke location permissions in your device settings at any time, but some features may become unavailable.

Account credentials (via Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, or Firebase Authentication)
Profile information such as username, avatar, and optional bio
Uploaded content: photos, descriptions, coordinates, tags, ratings, or comments
In-app messages, friend requests, and communication logs
Flags, moderation actions, and feedback reports
2. Use of Information
We use collected information to:
Operate and maintain all features of the Application
Display relevant map results, nearby locations, and personalized filters
Support user interactions (friends, favorites, leaderboards, messaging)
Enable content uploads, approvals, and moderation
Improve performance, functionality, and user experience

Comply with applicable laws and enforce our Terms of Use
We do not sell or rent personal data.
3. Third-Party Services
We use reputable third-party tools and APIs to support essential functionality. These providers may process limited data as required for the Application to operate.

Firebase (Google LLC) – Authentication, Firestore Database, Storage, Analytics, Crashlytics, and Remote Config
Google Maps SDK & Google Places API – Map display, geocoding, autocomplete search, and place details
Apple Authentication Services – Secure Apple ID sign-in
Kingfisher (Open Source) – Local image caching
AVFoundation / CoreLocation (Apple) – Camera and GPS functions
Firebase Cloud Messaging (if enabled) – Notifications
Each third-party provider maintains its own Privacy Policy governing data handling. These may include, but are not limited to:
We do not allow third parties to use your personal data for unrelated marketing or profiling purposes.
4. Data Sharing & Disclosure
We may share limited data only when necessary:
With trusted service providers operating on our behalf under confidentiality agreements

5. Data Retention & Deletion
User data is retained as long as your account is active or as needed to provide services. After account deletion, residual data may persist in secure backups for a limited period.
You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting harrisonlisewski1@gmail.com. After verification, we will delete or anonymize data within a reasonable timeframe, except as required for legal or safety purposes.
6. Opt-Out & Controls
You can:
Stop data collection by uninstalling the Application.
Disable analytics tracking through your device privacy settings (if supported).
Turn off location sharing in your device settings.
Request data access, correction, or deletion via email.
7. Security
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. This includes:

Secure Firebase database rules
Periodic security audits and anonymization where possible
No online service can guarantee absolute security. You use the Application at your own risk.
8. Children’s Privacy
This Application is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If a child under 13 provides personal data, we will delete it immediately upon discovery.

9. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country, including in regions where data protection laws may differ. By using the Application, you consent to this transfer and processing.
