Digital Tanzania Project (DTP) Mobile Privacy Policy

This Privacy policy sets out how DTP application, use and protect your personal data that you provide to us, in connection with an online environment which will ensure the information you provide to us is handled in a secure, efficient and confidential manner. For this Privacy policy, ‘we’, ‘us’ and ‘our’ refers to DTP, and ‘you & your’ refers to you, the user of Service.

How DTP Collect Data

We collect personal information provided to us on creation of account to our website or mobile app which includes name, phone number, place of origin, age and gender. We do not collect your personal information when you browse our website or use our app. However, you may also complain to us anonymously or by adopting a pseudonym. Anonymous privacy complaints would be investigated and provided with an outcome through complaint number obtained when sending the complaint.

Who Your Information May be Shared With

We will only share your information with the institution/organisations that we are contracted with or who we need to share information with to deal with your complaint. We will not normally share your information with any other external Organisation without your consent. However, there may be certain circumstances where we would need to share your information for example; where we are required to do so by law, for safeguarding purposes or in risk of harm or emergency situations.
