1. Introduction DEVSTAT ("we," "us," or "our") operates the DEVSTAT mobile application (the "App"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our App and the choices you have associated with that data.
DEVSTAT is a system monitoring and benchmarking tool designed to provide real-time hardware statistics, disk speed tests, and device information.
2. Information Collection and Use For a better experience while using our Service, we may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that we request will be retained on your device and is not collected by us in any way, except for data collected by third-party services used by the App.
2.1. Local Data Processing (No Server Upload) DEVSTAT is designed with privacy in mind. The following data is processed locally on your device and is not transmitted to any private server owned by the developer:
Hardware Information: CPU model, core frequencies, RAM usage, storage capacity, and battery health.
Benchmark Results: Data generated during the Disk Benchmark feature.
Installed Apps: The list of installed applications is accessed solely to display them to you within the App dashboard. This data never leaves your device.
3. Permissions and Justification The App requests specific permissions to function correctly. Here is why we need them:
READ_PHONE_STATE: Required to display cellular network information, such as the carrier name, network type (4G/5G), and SIM status. We do not access your phone number or make calls.
ACCESS_FINE_LOCATION / ACCESS_COARSE_LOCATION: Required by the Android System to display your Wi-Fi SSID (Network Name) and BSSID. We do not track your physical location or share your GPS coordinates.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW (Display over other apps): Required for the "Floating Monitor" feature to display real-time CPU and RAM usage over other applications or games.
QUERY_ALL_PACKAGES: Required to list the applications installed on your device in the "Apps" section of the dashboard.
INTERNET & ACCESS_NETWORK_STATE: Required to load advertisements (via Google AdMob) and check for internet connectivity.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Sharing We use third-party services that may collect information used to identify you. We do not sell your personal data. However, the App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements, which helps keep the App free.
Google AdMob & Advertising ID Google AdMob may use your device's Advertising ID to show personalized ads based on your interests.
Data Collected by AdMob: Device ID, Advertising ID, location data (if available), and usage data.
Purpose: Advertising, Marketing, and Analytics.

5. Google Play Integrity API We use the Google Play Integrity API to ensure that you are using a genuine version of DEVSTAT and that your device is secure. This service may analyze your device's integrity but does not identify you personally.
6. Security We value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and we cannot guarantee its absolute security.
7. Children’s Privacy These Services do not address anyone under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, we immediately delete this from our servers. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so that we will be able to do necessary actions.
8. Changes to This Privacy Policy We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page. These changes are effective immediately after they are posted on this page.
