This privacy policy applies to the DairyFit application (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices, created by Efe Cagatay Ercan (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".
1. Information Collection and Use
The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information is essential for the Application to provide nutritional analysis and activity tracking features.
Information you provide and we collect:
Camera and Image Data: The Application requires access to your device's camera and photo gallery to capture images of your meals. These images are processed securely to provide nutritional analysis using AI technology. These images are used solely for this functionality and are not used to identify individuals.
Health and Fitness Data: The Application accesses and processes health data, specifically your daily step counts, through the Android Health Connect API and Apple HealthKit. This data is used solely to provide personalized nutritional insights and activity reports within the app.
User Identifiers: We may collect your User ID (Firebase UID) to sync your data across devices.
Device Information: IP address, operating system version, and device type.
Usage Data: Time spent on the application and pages visited.
2. Health Data Protection (Specific to Google Play)
We take the privacy of your health data very seriously:
Purpose: We only request access to step data to calculate your daily activity levels.
No Marketing: We do not use health data for marketing or advertising purposes.
No Sharing: Your health data is not shared with third parties, except for the secure processing required by Firebase to store your personal progress.
Health Connect Policy: The use of information received from Health Connect will adhere to the Health Connect Permissions Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The Service Provider will retain your data for as long as you use the Application.
Data Deletion: You have the right to request the deletion of your account and all associated data. You can perform this action directly within the application settings ("Delete Account" button) or request deletion by contacting us at efecagatayercan@gmail.com. We will process your request within a reasonable timeframe.
5. Children's Privacy
The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. If it is discovered that a child under 13 has provided personal information, it will be immediately deleted from our servers.

We provide physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect the confidentiality of your information. All data transmitted between the Application and our servers is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS protocols.
