• Accessibility Data (AccessibilityService API): Our app uses the AccessibilityService API to give parents full access to their child’s phone. When enabled, the app can access screen content.

This data is securely processed and stored using the Firebase infrastructure.

2. Use of Information

The information we collect is used for the following purposes:

• Monitoring the child’s device usage and informing parents.
• Ensuring the proper functionality of the application and enhancing user experience.
• Enforcing the boundaries set by parents.

Use of Location Information: Location data is used to ensure your child’s safety and assist in locating them if they go missing. Background location access is essential to continuously track your child’s location and provide real-time updates to parents.

Use of Accessibility Data: Accessibility data is used for features such as app locking, secure internet browsing, and displaying parental messages. This data is not recorded, shared, or used for any other purposes.

Child Safety does not share the collected information with third parties, except for processing through trusted infrastructures like Firebase.

3. Background Operations and Background Location Access

Child Safety operates in the background to monitor device usage, track location, and generate notifications. These background processes are essential for the app to function correctly and provide real-time updates to parents. Specifically, background location access is critical for continuously tracking your child’s location and sending instant alerts to parents. When granting background location permission, the app may collect location data even when closed.

4. Use of Accessibility Service (AccessibilityService API)

Our app uses the AccessibilityService API to lock apps on your child’s phone. When this feature is enabled, the app can access screen content. However, this data is used solely for app locking, secure internet browsing, and displaying parental messages. It is never recorded, shared, or used for any other purpose. To enable or disable this feature, go to Settings > Accessibility on your device and find Child Safety. Please note that granting this permission allows the app to view and control everything displayed on your screen.

5. User Responsibility and Liability Disclaimer

Child Safety cannot be held responsible for any damage to your device or data.

6. Right to Amend

Child Safety reserves the right to amend this Privacy Policy without prior notice. Changes will take effect immediately upon publication in the app or on our official website. By continuing to use the app, you agree to these changes.

7. Data Security

We prioritize the security of your personal information. We take all necessary technical measures to protect your data using Firebase infrastructure. However, please note that no system is 100% secure.
