Intro

The EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is the most comprehensive change to EU data privacy law in decades. It took effect on the 25th May 2018. This Policy describes the efforts CTR.pro makes to comply with these regulations. We may refer to CTR.pro as “Software”, “we”, or “us”.  

Our role

According to GDPR classification, CTR.pro is a processor of Personal Data. As we collect data directly from you (subject), you can always contact our Data Protection Officer via email dpo@ctr.pro in order to receive information about means and purposes of personal data collection by us. 

The types and purposes of all Personal Data that we collect are described in Privacy Policy. We do not hand your Personal Data to third parties or use it for any purpose that has not been described in Privacy Policy. 

Does GDPR apply to me?

The regulation concerns EU citizens’ and residents' data, even if the processor's main office is outside the EU. In practice, most companies or individuals that have their customers in Europe or operate in Europe to some extent are subject to GDPR. Regarding the fact that we want to provide globally competitive services, we decided to ensure GDPR guarantees and grant GDPR rights to all our Users, regardless their location or citizenship. 

Personal Data subject rights

As you provide Personal Data directly from yourself, you can expect full control and transparency on how your data is stored, processed and used. All Users can request broader information on Personal Data, make updates to their Data provided earlier, or ask to delete their Data. To do that, you can use functions in the Profile screen or contact our DPO via email dpo@ctr.pro.  

However, bear in mind that your name, login, and password cannot be removed without deleting the User account altogether. 

Data Retention Period

As stated in the Privacy Policy, we delete all Personal Data used for Platform right after you delete your account. However, we keep your email in the Mailing List for a year after the account deletion, or until you decide to unsubscribe. 

Final Clauses

We use automatic mechanisms that process Personal Data (mainly for marketing and introductory purposes). If you wish to know more about the algorithms we use in regard to your Personal Data, please contact us via this email: dpo@ctr.pro.
