AI Comics Maker: Manga & More Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Comics AI: Manga & Webtoon app (hereby referred to as the “Application”) for mobile devices, created by ART APP LTD (hereby referred to as the “Service Provider”) as a Freemium service. This service is intended for use “AS IS”.

Information Collection and Use

The Application collects information when you download and use it. This information may include:

  • Your device’s Internet Protocol address (e.g., IP address)
  • The pages of the Application that you visit, the time and date of your visit, and the time spent on those pages
  • The time spent in the Application
  • The operating system you use on your mobile device

The Application does not collect precise information about your mobile device location.For a better experience, while using the Application, the Service Provider may require you to provide certain personally identifiable information. The information requested will be retained and used as described in this Privacy Policy.The Service Provider may use the information you provide to contact you from time to time with important information, required notices, or marketing promotions.

AI Data Processing

To provide comic generation features, the Application uses AI technologies.Before any AI request is sent, the app asks for user permission through an in-app consent prompt (Cancel / Continue). No AI data is transmitted until the user grants consent.When the user chooses to generate comics, the Application sends the following user-provided content to Google Gemini API (Google LLC) via the Service Provider’s secure backend:

  • story text entered by the user
  • selected character photos uploaded by the user

This data is used solely to process and return the user-requested generated images.The Service Provider does not sell this data and does not use it for advertising purposes. The Service Provider does not use this data to train its own AI models.Uploaded character photos and generated comics are stored locally on the user’s device. The Service Provider does not permanently store uploaded character photos on its servers.

Third Party Access

Only aggregated, anonymized data is periodically transmitted to external services to help the Service Provider improve the Application and service quality. The Service Provider may share your information with third parties as described in this Privacy Policy.The Application uses third-party services that have their own Privacy Policies. These include:

  • Google Gemini API (Google LLC)
  • Google Analytics for Firebase
  • Firebase Crashlytics
  • RevenueCat

The Service Provider may disclose User Provided and Automatically Collected Information:

  • as required by law (such as to comply with a subpoena or similar legal process);
  • when the Service Provider believes in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect rights, user safety, the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request;
  • with trusted service providers who work on behalf of the Service Provider, do not have independent use of the disclosed information, and agree to follow this Privacy Policy.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all collection of information by the Application by uninstalling it. You may use standard uninstall processes available through your mobile device or app marketplace.

Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider will retain User Provided data for as long as you use the Application and for a reasonable time thereafter. Children

The Service Provider does not knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.The Application is not intended for children under 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 13. Security

The Service Provider is concerned with safeguarding the confidentiality of your information and provides physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards to protect information processed and maintained by the Service Provider.
