This Privacy Policy describes how VCQApp ("Service Provider", "we", "us") collects, uses, and shares information through the Celestia: Stars & Dreams AI mobile application ("Application"). By using the Application, you consent to the data practices described in this policy.
1. Information Collection and Use
A. Personal & Device Information The Application may collect certain information automatically, including:
Your device's IP address and operating system.
Log data regarding the time, date, and duration of your sessions.
Personally identifiable information provided by you upon registration, such as your Email address and User ID (stored securely via Firebase).
B. Astrological & Profile Data To provide you with your personalized birth chart and real-time horoscopes, we collect your:
First Name
Date of Birth
Time of Birth (optional)
Location of Birth (City/Country)
This information is used strictly to calculate the astronomical positions of the planets and stars at the exact moment of your birth.
C. Dream Journal Data Celestia includes a private Dream Journal feature. We collect the dreams you log, including text descriptions, symbols, tags, and the emotional mood associated with the dream. This data is stored securely in your private account and is only analyzed by our AI to provide you with personalized interpretations.
D. Location Data The Application collects your explicitly entered birth location (City/Country) to calculate accurate astrological coordinates and timezones for your birth chart. We do not track your continuous real-time GPS location in the background.
2. AI Technology & Processing
Celestia uses advanced Artificial Intelligence (Google Gemini API) to analyze your astrological profile and interpret your dreams, providing you with personalized cosmic coaching.
Processing: Your birth data and dream texts are processed by the AI solely to generate insights for your personal dashboard.
Privacy: Your personal data and intimate dreams sent to the AI API are not used to train Google's public foundation models and are processed securely for your session only.
3. Ads and Monetization
Celestia uses a "Freemium" model where free users can unlock premium AI generations (such as dream interpretations and dream symbol lookups) by watching Rewarded Ads.
To deliver these ads, we integrate Google AdMob. AdMob may collect and use your device's advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID or Apple IDFA), your IP address, and app usage data to serve personalized or non-personalized video ads, subject to the privacy settings on your device.
4. Third-Party Access & Data Sharing
A. General Third Parties We share anonymized, aggregated data, or necessary service data with the following infrastructure providers:
Google Play Services / Apple App Store (Platform distribution)
Firebase (Google) (Authentication, Firestore Database, Crashlytics for bugs, and Analytics for app performance)
RevenueCat (To securely manage in-app purchases and PRO subscriptions)
Google AdMob (To serve rewarded video ads)
Google Gemini AI API (To generate AI-powered astrology and dream insights)
B. Data Protection (Crucial) We respect the highly personal nature of your birth data and your intimate dreams. Your personal interpretations, cosmic connections, and dream logs are never sold to third-party advertisers or data brokers.
5. Data Deletion & Retention
Retention: We retain your data as long as your account is active.
Deletion: You can delete your account and all associated data (including your birth chart, dream journal, and AI insights) directly in the app's Settings menu.
Formal Request: You may also email us at vcqapp@gmail.com to request full data erasure. We will process these requests within 3 business days.
6. Security
We implement administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information, dream logs, and astrological profile from unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
7. Children's Privacy
Celestia does not knowingly collect data from children under the age of 13. If we discover such data has been collected, we will delete it immediately.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify you of changes by posting the new policy on this page and updating the "Effective Date."
