Bukner Files is committed to providing a secure, private, and completely standalone experience. This Privacy Policy explains our data practices, emphasizing that your data never leaves your device.

1. No Data Collection (Offline Philosophy)

Bukner Files is a standalone application.

No Internet Access: The app does not require or use an internet connection.

No Accounts: There is no email login, registration, or cloud syncing.

No Tracking/Ads: We do not include any advertisements, third-party trackers, or analytics.

2. File Handling & Storage

Unlike a standard file explorer, Bukner Files does not scan your entire device.

User-Initiated Storage: The app only accesses and stores a file when you explicitly "Add" it.

Internal Copying: When you add a file, the app creates its own internal copy. This ensures that even if you delete the original file from your device’s main gallery or storage, the version inside Bukner Files remains safe.

Organization: You may rename files and use preset or custom folders to organize your data. These edits are stored locally on your device only.

3. App Features & Permissions

To provide the features you use, the app requires specific local permissions:

Storage Access: Required only to import your chosen files and to save the encrypted internal copies.

Zipping & Sharing: You can securely zip files or folders within the app for backup or sharing. Sharing is handled through the Android system share sheet; Bukner Files does not transmit this data itself.

Isolation Mode: This feature allows you to "lock" the app into a view-only state, preventing any editing, sharing, or additions while active.

Productivity Tools: The built-in Calculator, Age Calculator, and To-Do List store all data (tasks and reminders) locally. Reminders use local system notifications.

4. Security Measures

8-Digit PIN: Access to your files is protected by a mandatory 8-digit PIN. This is stored locally in the app's secure private storage and is never sent to a server.

No External Connections: By design, the app has no bridge to the internet, making it immune to remote data breaches.

5. Data Retention & Deletion

You are the sole owner of your data.

If you delete a file within the app, the internal copy is permanently removed.

If you uninstall the app, all files and data stored within Bukner Files will be deleted by the Android system. We recommend using the Zipping/Backup option to save your data externally before uninstallation.

6. Children’s Privacy

Since we collect zero personal information and have no online component, Bukner Files is inherently safe for all users. However, we do not knowingly collect data from anyone.
