Privacy Policy for Boyzeta
Effective Date: July 28, 2025
Last Updated: July 28, 2025
Introduction
Boyzeta ("we," "our," or "us") operates the Boyzeta mobile application (the "Service"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our app.
Boyzeta is designed to scan product barcodes and inform users whether a product or brand is on a boycott list. We do not collect, store, or share any personal data from users.
Information Collection
We do not collect any personal information from users. The app functions entirely offline except to retrieve public product information associated with scanned barcodes.
No user accounts
No personal identifiers
No tracking or analytics
No GPS or background location
No advertising
How the App Works
When you scan a product:
The app checks the product against a locally stored or remotely accessed database of companies and products.
Results are displayed to inform you whether the product is on a boycott list.
We may fetch publicly available product data from trusted external sources to keep the boycott database updated. This process does not involve user-specific data.
Third-Party Services
The app may access publicly available databases or open APIs for product information. We do not share user information with any third party because we don’t collect any.
Children's Privacy
Since we do not collect any data, our app is safe for general audiences. However, it is not designed for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect any personal information from children.
Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our app or legal obligations. The updated policy will always be available in the app or on our website.
