Terms of Use
These terms and conditions apply to the Bible Gate app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Duhyeon Lee (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Freemium service.
Upon downloading or utilizing the Application, you are automatically agreeing to the following terms. It is strongly advised that you thoroughly read and understand these terms prior to using the Application.
1. License & Intellectual Property
Unauthorized copying, modification of the Application, any part of the Application, or our trademarks is strictly prohibited. Any attempts to extract the source code of the Application, translate the Application into other languages, or create derivative versions are not permitted. All trademarks, copyrights, database rights, and other intellectual property rights related to the Application remain the property of the Service Provider.
2. In-App Purchases (Snooze Items)
The Application offers optional In-App Purchases, specifically "Snooze" items, to enhance your experience.
Payment: All transactions are processed securely through the Google Play Store. The Service Provider does not store your payment information.
Refunds: Refunds are governed by Google Play's refund policies. Since "Snooze" items are consumable digital goods, they may not be refundable once used or after a certain period.
Changes: The Service Provider reserves the right to change the pricing of In-App Purchases at any time. Any changes will not affect items you have already purchased.
3. Disclaimer for Alarm Functionality
Please Read Carefully: While the Service Provider strives to ensure the alarm functions correctly, the Application depends on your device’s operating system, battery settings, and volume configurations. The Service Provider cannot guarantee that the alarm will function error-free in all circumstances.
The Service Provider is not responsible for any direct or indirect damages (including, but not limited to, missed appointments, being late for work/school, or other consequential losses) resulting from:
The alarm failing to ring due to battery discharge or "Battery Optimization" settings on your device.
The volume being set to mute or too low to be heard.
Unexpected termination of the Application by the operating system or third-party task killer apps.
Bugs or errors inherent in the software.
You agree that you use this Application as a supplementary aid and should not rely on it as your sole method for critical time-keeping.
4. Data & Security
The Application does not require you to create an account or provide personal information (such as name or email). However, the Application uses third-party services (Firebase) to collect anonymous usage data and crash logs to improve service stability. It is your responsibility to maintain the security of your phone. The Service Provider strongly advises against jailbreaking or rooting your phone, as such actions could expose your phone to security risks and result in the Application not functioning correctly.
5. Connectivity & Charges
Some functions of the Application (e.g., In-App Purchases, initial setup, sending analytics) require an active internet connection. The Service Provider cannot be held responsible if the Application does not function at full capacity due to lack of access to Wi-Fi or data. If you use the application outside of a Wi-Fi area, your mobile network provider's terms apply, and you may incur data charges.
6. Updates & Termination
The Service Provider is dedicated to ensuring that the Application is as beneficial as possible. We may update the Application to add features or fix bugs. The requirements for the operating system may change, and you will need to download the updates if you want to continue using the Application. The Service Provider does not guarantee that it will always update the Application so that it is compatible with the particular operating system version installed on your device. We may also wish to cease providing the Application and may terminate its use at any time without notice.
7. Changes to These Terms and Conditions
The Service Provider may periodically update their Terms and Conditions. Therefore, you are advised to review this page regularly for any changes. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by posting the new Terms and Conditions on this page.
