Download & Install

  • Tap the “Get” button to download and install the app on your iOS device.

Simple Interface

  • When you first open Bette Sleep, you'll see a list of available ambient sounds.
  • The interface is designed to be simple and intuitive, allowing you to quickly find and play sounds.

Key Features

  • Playing Sounds: Simply tap on any sound name in the list to start playing it. Tap the pause button (often the same area or a dedicated button) to stop the audio.
  • Free & Premium Sounds: Bette Sleep offers a selection of sounds completely free! Premium sounds, which offer more variety, are marked (e.g., with a lock icon) and require an active subscription to play.
  • Sleep Timer: Want the sound to turn off automatically? Tap the timer icon (usually looks like a clock or stopwatch) on the player screen or in the settings area. Select your desired duration, and the audio will fade out or stop after that time.
  • Background Play: Bette Sleep continues playing your chosen sound even when you switch to another app or lock your screen, perfect for overnight use or focusing while working.

Navigation Tips

  • The main screen displays the list of available sounds. Scroll through to find your desired ambience.
  • Playback controls (Play/Pause, Timer) are typically visible when a sound is selected or playing.
  • Look for a Settings or "About" section (often accessible via a gear icon or menu) to find options like "Restore Purchases" and links to our Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy.

  • Q: How do I play a sound? A: Just tap the name of the sound you want to hear from the main list. Tap again or use the pause control to stop it.
  • Q: What is the difference between free and premium sounds? A: Free sounds are available to all users. Premium sounds require a subscription and provide access to our complete, expanded library of diverse soundscapes.
  • Q: How does the Bette Sleep Premium subscription work? A: Subscriptions unlock all premium sounds. They are managed through your Apple ID and will auto-renew (e.g., monthly or yearly) unless you cancel them in your device's App Store Account Settings at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
  • Q: How do I cancel my subscription? A: You can manage or cancel your subscription directly through your Apple ID Account Settings on your iPhone or iPad. Go to Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions. Deleting the app will not cancel the subscription.
  • Q: I subscribed, but premium sounds are still locked. What should I do? A: Please try tapping the "Restore Purchases" button, usually found in the app's Settings or About section. Ensure you have an internet connection and are logged into the same Apple ID you used to subscribe. Restarting the app may also help.
  • Q: Will the sound keep playing if I close the app or lock my screen? A: Yes! Bette Sleep supports background audio playback.
  • Q: Is my listening data private? A: We prioritize your privacy. We collect anonymous usage data via Firebase Analytics to improve the app and use RevenueCat to manage subscription status. Troubleshooting

  • App Not Responding or Crashing:
    • Close the app completely (swipe up from the app switcher) and reopen it.
    • Ensure your iPhone/iPad's iOS version is up-to-date.
    • Check if an update for Bette Sleep is available on the App Store.
  • Sound Not Playing:
    • Check your device's volume level (both the ringer/silent switch and the volume buttons).
    • Make sure the sound isn't paused in the app.
    • Try playing a different sound to see if the issue is specific to one file.
  • Premium Sounds Still Locked After Purchase/Restore:
    • Ensure your internet connection is stable.
    • Verify the purchase was successful in your App Store purchase history.
    • Tap "Restore Purchases" again in the app's settings.
    • Restart the Bette Sleep app.
    • Restart your device.
  • Timer Doesn't Stop Audio:

    • Ensure the app hasn't been manually force-quit after setting the timer.
  • Background Audio Stops Unexpectedly:
