AutoMain — Privacy Policy

Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the AutoMain app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Wesley Russell (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as an Ad Supported service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

How the Application Works

The Application is an offline vehicle maintenance tracker. All data you enter — including vehicles, maintenance records, reminders, and photos — is stored locally on your device only. The Service Provider does not operate servers, databases, or cloud services that receive, store, or process your data. There are no user accounts, no sign-ups, and no login required.

Information Collection and Use

The Service Provider does not directly collect, transmit, or store any personal information from you. The Application does not use analytics, tracking, or telemetry of any kind.

However, the Application uses third-party services that may collect information used to identify you:

Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads SDK)

The free version of the Application displays advertisements provided by Google AdMob. The Google Mobile Ads SDK may collect and process certain information automatically, including but not limited to:

  • Device identifiers (such as advertising ID)
  • IP address
  • General location data (derived from IP address, not precise GPS)
  • Device information (model, operating system version, screen size)
  • Ad interaction data (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy). The Service Provider does not have access to or control over the data collected by Google AdMob.

You can opt out of personalized advertising by adjusting your device's ad settings. On Android, go to Settings > Google > Ads > "Opt out of Ads Personalization" or equivalent for your device.

If you purchase the ad-free upgrade within the Application, the Google AdMob SDK is disabled entirely and no further ad-related data collection occurs.

Google Play In-App Purchases

The Application offers a one-time in-app purchase to remove advertisements. This transaction is processed entirely by Google Play. The Service Provider does not collect, process, or store any payment information. All billing is handled by Google in accordance with Google Play's terms of service.

Photos

The Application allows you to take or select photos for vehicle and maintenance record documentation. These photos are stored exclusively in the Application's private storage on your device. Photos are not uploaded, transmitted, or shared with the Service Provider or any third party. Uninstalling the Application permanently deletes all photos stored within it.

Data Storage and Deletion

All user-created data (vehicles, maintenance records, reminders, and photos) is stored locally on your device using on-device storage. This data is never transmitted to the Service Provider or any external server.

Because data is stored only on your device:

  • Uninstalling the Application permanently deletes all data and photos
  • Clearing the Application's data in your device settings has the same effect
  • There is no way to recover deleted data
  • The Service Provider cannot access, retrieve, or restore your data

The Application includes a "Clear All Data" option in Settings that allows you to delete all data without uninstalling.

Third Party Services

The Application uses the following third-party services:

  • Google AdMob — for displaying advertisements (free version only)
  • Google Play Billing — for processing the ad-free in-app purchase

Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13. The Application does not collect personally identifiable information from any user. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child is using the Application inappropriately, please contact the Service Provider at contact@gettrnd.com.

Security

The Service Provider is committed to protecting your information. Because all data remains on your device and is never transmitted to external servers, your data is protected by your device's own security measures, including device encryption, screen lock, and app sandboxing provided by the Android operating system.

Opt-Out Rights

You can stop all data storage by the Application by uninstalling it, which permanently deletes all locally stored data and photos. You can remove advertisements by purchasing the ad-free upgrade, which disables the Google AdMob SDK entirely.

Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes by updating this page with the revised Privacy Policy. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically for any changes. Continued use of the Application after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

This privacy policy is effective as of 2026-04-06.
