Privacy Policy for Ashbound

Ashbound ("the App") is developed and published by Turgay Ceylan ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information in connection with your use of the App.
1. No Personal Data Collection
Ashbound is a fully offline, single-player game. The App does not require an internet connection to play, does not require account creation or sign-in, and does not collect, transmit, or share any personally identifiable information (such as your name, email address, phone number, or location) with us or with any third party.
2. Data Stored on Your Device
The App stores certain data locally on your device only, using Apple's standard on-device storage mechanisms (UserDefaults). This includes:
- Your game save progress (character level, inventory, quest progress, story choices, region unlocks)
- Your selected language preference
- Your audio/settings preferences (music and sound effect volume)
This data never leaves your device. We do not have access to it, and it is not transmitted to any server, cloud service, or third party. Deleting the App from your device will permanently delete this data.
3. No Third-Party Services
Ashbound does not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, tracking, or software development kits (SDKs). The App does not display advertisements, does not use in-app purchases, and does not connect to any external servers or APIs.
4. No Data Sharing
Because we do not collect any personal data, we do not sell, rent, trade, or share any data with third parties, advertisers, or data brokers.
5. Children's Privacy
Ashbound does not knowingly collect any personal information from anyone, including children under the age of 13. Since no data is collected at all, no data related to children is collected, stored, or processed by us.
6. Age Rating and Content
Ashbound contains simulated in-game gambling activities (using a fictional in-game currency that has no real-world monetary value and cannot be purchased with or exchanged for real money) as well as stylized fantasy violence. Please refer to the App Store age rating for details.
7. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by an updated "Effective Date" at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after any changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
