Effective date: August 5, 2026
This Privacy Policy applies to the AIRLink VPN mobile application (the "Application"), operated by AIRLink VPN (the "Service Provider", "we", "us"). The Application provides a virtual private network (VPN) service: it establishes an encrypted tunnel between your device and our VPN servers. Access to the service is provided on a paid subscription basis.
This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we handle it. It is written to describe our actual practices — including what we deliberately do not collect.
1. Our No-Logs Commitment (VPN Traffic)
The core function of the Application is to protect your privacy. Therefore, when you are connected to our VPN:
- We do not collect, store, or log your browsing history.
- We do not collect, store, or log your DNS queries.
- We do not collect, store, or log the websites you visit, the destination IP addresses you connect to, or the contents of your traffic.
- We do not inspect, modify, inject into, or redirect your traffic. Your traffic is forwarded through our servers unmodified.
- We do not sell bandwidth, operate residential-proxy or peer-to-peer exit networks, or monetize user traffic in any way.
We cannot disclose, sell, or hand over data that we never record.
2. Information We Collect
To operate a paid subscription service, we collect the minimum account and service data necessary:
a. Account information
- Email address — used to create and sign in to your account and to manage your subscription (e.g. receipts, expiry notices, password recovery).
b. Payment information
- Payments are processed by a third-party payment provider. Card details are entered into and processed by the payment provider's systems; we do not store full card numbers on our servers. We receive and retain a record of the transaction (subscription plan, amount, date, payment status) needed to activate and manage your subscription.
c. Service identifiers
- Account and subscription identifiers — internal IDs used to authenticate you and deliver your VPN connection configuration.
- Device identifiers — an application instance/device token used for licensing (e.g. limiting the number of simultaneous devices) and, where enabled, push notifications.
d. Diagnostics
- Crash reports and basic diagnostic data (device model, operating system version, application version, error traces) — used solely to identify and fix defects in the Application.
e. Operational connection data
- To operate, secure, and capacity-plan the service, our servers may process transient technical data (such as the fact and time of a VPN session and aggregate bandwidth consumed per account). This data is not linked to your browsing activity or traffic contents.
We do not collect your precise or approximate geographic location, contacts, messages, photos, audio, files, or health data.
3. How We Use Information
We use the information described above exclusively to:
- create and authenticate your account;
- process subscription payments and manage your subscription status;
- deliver VPN configuration to your device and operate the VPN service;
- enforce licensing limits (e.g. number of devices);
- diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues;
- send you service communications (receipts, subscription and security notices).
We do not use your data for advertising, and the Application does not contain third-party advertising SDKs.
4. Consent
The Application displays an in-app disclosure describing the data listed in Section 2 before any of it is collected, and collection begins only after you give your explicit consent. By creating an account and using the Application after providing consent, you agree to the processing of your information as described in this Privacy Policy.
5. Sharing With Third Parties
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Payment provider — to process your subscription payments (they receive the payment details you enter and transaction data);
- Infrastructure providers — hosting providers whose servers run our backend and VPN infrastructure, acting on our instructions;
- Crash-reporting/diagnostics provider — to receive the crash reports described in Section 2(d), where such a provider is used.
These providers process data on our behalf, are not permitted to use it for their own purposes, and are bound by contractual confidentiality obligations.
We may also disclose the account information we hold (Section 2) if required to do so by applicable law or valid legal process, or where necessary in good faith to protect our rights, investigate fraud, or protect the safety of users. Because we do not log VPN traffic (Section 1), such disclosures cannot include browsing activity.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
- Account information and transaction records are retained while your account is active and for a limited period thereafter as required for accounting and legal purposes.
- Crash reports and diagnostics are retained for a limited period needed to analyze and fix defects.
- You may request deletion of your account and associated personal data at any time by contacting us at the address in Section 10. We will respond within a reasonable time and delete the data unless we are legally required to retain specific records.
You can stop all data collection by the Application by ceasing to use it and uninstalling it via the standard uninstall process of your device, and requesting account deletion as described above.
7. Security
We protect your information using physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards, including encryption of the VPN tunnel between your device and our servers and encrypted storage of account credentials.
8. Children
The Application is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we discover that a child under 13 has provided personal information, we will delete it promptly. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, please contact us at the address in Section 10.
9. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the updated version on this page and update the effective date above. Material changes to what data we collect will additionally be reflected in the in-app disclosure and will require renewed consent where applicable.
