1. Our Privacy Commitment (Air-Gapped Processing)
AirGap is designed as a privacy-first utility. Our core commitment is that your personal files never leave your device.
- On-Device Processing: All PDF and Image manipulations (merging, splitting, compressing, and converting) are performed locally on your device's hardware.
- No File Uploads: We do not operate servers that store, process, or transmit your documents or images.
2. Information We do NOT Collect
- Personal Documents/Images: We have no access to the content of the files you process within the App.
- Identity Information: We do not require account creation, and we do not collect your name, email address, or phone number through the app’s core functionality.
3. Information Collected by Third-Party Services
To support the free development of this App, we use third-party advertising services. These services may collect certain information to provide functional advertising:
- Google AdMob: Our App uses Google AdMob to display banner and rewarded advertisements. AdMob may collect and use information such as your device's Advertising ID, IP address, and basic device information (model, OS version) to serve relevant ads and prevent fraud.
4. Permissions
The App requires the following permissions to function:
- Internet Access: Used solely for loading advertisements and communicating with Google Play Services.
- Storage Access: Used to allow you to select files for processing and to save the resulting files back to your device.
5. Data Security
Since your files are processed locally, the security of your data depends on the security of your device. We use Android’s standard secure file handling practices for temporary "cache" files, which you can clear at any time within the App’s settings.

We may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.
