activeTab – to access the currently open tab when you request a summary.

scripting – to allow the Extension to run scripts needed to extract content from the page for summarization.

host permissions – to enable summarization of content from websites you visit, as per the Extension’s purpose.

These permissions are used only for the single purpose of generating summaries of web pages.

Data Usage

The Extension does not sell, rent, or share user data with third parties.

The Extension does not use or transfer user data for purposes unrelated to its core functionality (summarizing webpages).

The Extension does not use or transfer user data for creditworthiness, lending, or advertising purposes.

Third-Party Services

The Extension may connect to AI APIs (e.g., summarization models) to generate summaries. In such cases, only the relevant webpage text necessary for summarization is sent to the API, and it is not linked to any personally identifiable information.

Data Retention

No personal data is stored or retained by the Service Provider. Any temporary processing is performed only at the time of generating a summary.

Children’s Privacy

This Extension does not knowingly collect any information from children under 13. It is safe for general use.
